After some night fishing over beer and a delicious dinner provided by an amazingly kind Portuguese restaurant owner we slept comfortably (well, about as comfortably as you can sleep on a quilt over a rocky, twig-full surface). Beginning the day with a scrumptious egg/toast/coffee/cereal/fruit breakfast (prepared by yours truly) we then cleaned up the parameter with stone-age brooms. It's hike time! Good thing Rafa had the idea to take a barbecue set-up and all the meat and trimmings in his pack, so us girls could just pick daisies along the way.
